Julius-K9 ® IDC ® Powerharness
The company has manufactured the Powerharness since 1997. Due to innovations and features never used in manufacturing canine harnesses before, they created an extremely strong, heavy duty harness. This is why the company decided to market the product as ‘Powerharness’.
The ’IDC ®’ Powerharness is an improved and upgraded successor of the K9 ® - Powerharness. The most important innovation of the IDC ® Poweharness is the way it balances the weight of the load to the most optimum way. When pulling on the harness, the applied forced varies depending on the strength and size of the dog. Therefore, the structure of the harness is vital for its best possible use. To make it ultra-comfortable, Julius-K9 ® manufactures the different sizes of its harnesses in a way to best fit the different type of breeds. The harnesses are subjected to endurance tests. In 2015 the IDC ® Powerharness has won the National Quality Product Award.

Removable patches
Make sure your dog is even more visible by attaching individual, fluorescent patches. Available in two sizes, small 110 x 30 mm (4.3 x 1.2 in) and large 160x50mm (6.3x2 in). You can create your own label or pick one from the factory supplied labels.
Julius K9 ® Colour & Gray ® group
There are different types of harness in the Julius-K9 ® harness range. The company markets the Color&Gray ® group. They market ’IDC ®’ strap harness, leash and collar.
Julius K9 ® IDC ® Lumino
The Julius - K9 ® company also offers special phosphorescent leashes and collars, which glow in the dark based on the intensity of natural or artificial light exposure.
They are called ’IDC ® Lumino’ products. The Lumino leash has an adjustable version with a double carabineer and a twin version, which makes it possible to walking two dogs simultaneously.

JULIUS - K9 ® | The company
The Julius-K9 ® company was founded in 1997, by Gyula ‘Julius’ Sebő, who was born in Hungary. He is the inventor of the K9 dog harnesses with hook& loop patches, leashes, collars and other kinds of dog gear.
The owner’s wife, Aniko Bakos helped him building up the company since the beginnings.
The Austrian – Hungarian companies, Julius-K9 ® Zrt. and K9 ® Sport have an American subsidiary, called Julius K9 ® LLC. They are not only present in Europe but have achieved worldwide fame for their high-quality equipment for dogs. At first, the company made their products specially for police forces to gear up service dogs. Subsequently, the K9 ® products have become more and more popular among hobby dog owners, who discovered the advantage of the equipment.
By 2011 the company became one of the largest dog equipment manufacturers in Europe. In the next year the firm reached a steep surge in sales in the African, Arab, South and Central American countries. Over the following years the company has begun a rapid expansion to several more countries.
The company takes part in animal welfare activities and have established their own dog training facilities and animal rescue and rehabilitation association.
